Smart Meetings magazine is a monthly travel trade magazine. Its prestigious Platinum Choice award recognizes excellence in service and amenities among meeting facilities in the Western Region (the 14 western states, Western Canada and Mexico ).

The Steakhouse restaurants at Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa in Rancho Mirage and Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs have each been honored with this year’s “Wine Spectator Award for Excellence.”

The annual awards recognize outstanding wine programs that offer what Wine Spectator calls a “well-chosen selection of quality [wine] producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.”   

It is the fifth consecutive “Wine Spectator Award for Excellence” received by The Steakhouse at Spa Resort Casino, which offers 295 varieties and an inventory of over 2,700 bottles of wine. The Steakhouse at Agua Caliente Casino garnered its third award this year, offering guests 325 varieties and an inventory of 3,835.
